Wahl Deep Tissue Percussion Therapeutic Massager Review
For someone like me who lives an active lifestyle, body pains and injuries are almost a normal occurrence. After a rigorous mountain climbing activity or a strenuous hike, I am sure to have muscle pains in different parts of my body, especially on my back and my legs that bear most of the brunt of the work.
I usually like to visit a massage clinic to relieve my body of stress. But more often than not, I am not able to go because of time constraints. My schedule is always packed. It’s a good thing that I have massagers at home that I can use whenever I want to soothe my aching and tired muscles.
One of the massagers that I frequently use is the Wahl Deep Tissue Percussion Therapeutic Massager. As the name implies, this massager uses vibration which mimics a thumping action that is concentrated and rapid which then allows the users to experience deep massage. The user then feels relief; the soreness goes away for the muscles are then healed faster.
GREAT deal here on the Wahl Deep Tissue Percussion Massager 🙂
The thing that I like most about the Wahl Deep Tissue Percussion Therapeutic Massager is that it has changeable heads. The unit comes with four (4) attachment heads that have different uses. The Deep muscle thumps smoothly and it helps to relax the muscles in every part of the body. The Raised Bump is perfect when you want to cover large areas.
The Accupoint, which is my favorite, hits those tricky parts deep. The last one, the Four Finger Flex has four nodes which are supposed to mimic human fingers. I don’t know about the others, perhaps they enjoy using this attachment but it just doesn’t work for me.
The nodes do not feel anything at all like that of a human’s fingers. It should feel like a masseuse’s hands but it doesn’t feel that way. Personally, I don’t really care much for it. The other three attachments are enough for me.
The Wahl Deep Tissue Percussion Therapeutic Massager has an 8 foot cord that makes it easy to maneuver and an ergonomic design which makes it easy to handle. It fits just perfectly into my hands.
Its small in size, portable, effective and a low cost massager. What more can you ask for?
It’s a really strong percussion massager that can relieve pain and fatigue. The massager can produce up to 3,350 pulses per minute so even on the lightest setting, it can really pack a series of percussions. So whenever I use it, I usually start on the lightest, gentlest setting, and when I am quite used to it, I adjust it to more intense.
By the way, this massager is also as heavy as it is powerful. I think that the only thing that somewhat bothers me about this is its weight. I can use it by myself but after 30 minutes of handling it on my own, I get tired because of the weight. I suggest that one uses it for about 10 minutes and then rest for a while, and then use it again. And it only works on 110 volt power source. I need to use a transformer if I want to bring this to other countries that have 240 volt service.
Just an additional information on this massager, this has an electromagnetic motor so if you are going to use it, make sure that there is no one near you that has a pacemaker. Moreover, pregnant and diabetic people should consult their doctors first before using the massager.
